✅ What You CAN Do

  • Say you arean Independent Travel Consultant with Starfish & Teacups Travel.
  • Let people know where you arebased(city/province) as long as you donotadvertise your home as an office.
  • Advertise that you serve clientslocally or across Canada.
  • Use yourown phone number and email, and you may also include the agency number.
  • Use yourpersonal branding (voice, photos, style)as long as the agency name is always clearly included.

🚫 What You CANNOT Do

  • ❌ Present yourself as your own separate agency (e.g., “Jane’s Travel Co.”).
  • ❌ Use yourhome addressas a business location.
  • ❌ Say you are “licensed in [province]” (only the agency holds the licence, in BC).
  • ❌ Leave out the agency name and licence when advertising travel services.

  • Always include theagency name + CPBC licence numberon anything client-facing.
  • Always list theagency addressas shown above (not your home).
  • If you leave the agency, all client-facing materials must stop using the Starfish & Teacups Travel name and licence immediately.

Quick Rule of Thumb:
Your clients should always be 100% clear that you are part ofStarfish & Teacups Travel, a licensed travel agency in BC. 
You can share where you’re based, but the official business name, licence number, and agency address must always appear.
